Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway - Attraction - Skipton - North Yorkshire | Welcome to Yorkshire
Went on trip to see and rubble with two avid fans got to station and as we got off the train they were huddled away so kids did not get a chance to see them very poor More. We are sorry you arrived too late to meet Chase and Marshall ,their appearance times at Bolton Abbey Station were clearly advertised on our website and at our ticket offices.
You traveled on the 3pm train from Embsay therefore could not have reached Bolton Abbey Recently i had a driver experience session on the railway.
Contact by the staff to cancel due to the recent snows and willingness to arrange another one was excellent. The day was brilliant getting to both to fire and drive the steam engine on a We all like a trip to see a steam train and my son and his family were visiting for the weekend, so on a bright and frosty day we nipped off for a visit.
It was a great day out - the cold sunny conditions This is a gem of a railway with bags of atmosphere. My family ride on the Santa Specials every year and we never cease to be impressed by the volunteers who put on the whole show on for the public. We loved the warm welcome This small little preservation railway run by ALL volunteers maintained and staffed!!
A great day out for all ages. Come aling and meet the family!!! We visit here all year around and we are never disappointed! The people who run this steam railway gem are incredible and deserve all the praise and credit possible!

We visited on Boxing Day, which may well have been partially the problem, but the whole attraction seemed quite underwhelming.
Upon arrival at Bolton Abbey station, you are greeted by a line of slowly rotting locos and rolling stock. The station itself was warm, festively My daughter and son in law took their five year old son on th Santa train last weekend the 17th I believe All of your saved places can be found here in My Trips.
